The error occurs because the KISS Advertiser module coincidentally uses the same function name (_getWatermarkImage) as the Joomlaworks Gallery. This problem could be solved by replacing all references to '_getWatermarkImage' in the code by another string.
You are obviously using the old KISS Advertiser module, we have rewritten the code in the new module so that it no longer uses own procedures. The procedures are now part of a particular helper class, which should help to avoid such errors.
The new module is available for Joomla 3.x only as Joomla 2.5 will be deprecated at the end of the year.

Joomlaworks didn't spot it, but it may have been because I had set the gallery to also load up the same module position that the ks advertiser was published in hence the redeclaration. Might be an idea to have functions in a separate file and use require_once to avoid this in future?

Hi, there is a problem with the module which for some reason prevents image gallery pro (a k2 extension) working - their support found the following, pointing the 'blame' at KS advertiser, here is their response:
Obviously I would like to use ks advertiser so disabling it isn't the solution I was looking for! clearly Joomlaworks can't help any further.
