Hi

Yes, we guessed that would be the situation. It\'s understandable. We found a way of working around it. For our next project we will have a better idea up front how KISS works so we will design it accordingly. It\'s great software - lots of features.

Thanks

Neil

It is not possible to enter 4 or more images upon creating a new ad as a new ad has the ID number 0 unless it is saved. The ID is delivered by the server upon saving.

As the additional images are stored in a separate table, the ID is mandatory to assign the images to their appropriate ads.

Sorry, there is no other way. The alternative would be to add more database fields to the ads table to store more than one image. But how many fields to add? If we would add 10 fields, there would be another individual who says: \"But I need 12 fields\". That is why we decided to store the additional image information in a separate table.

OK - thanks for that. We almost have it working now.

But now we want to add 4 images to an ad - we need to do this before payment is made.
It seem that KISS only adds 1 image when you submit an Ad, and then you must use the edit Ad page to add the 2nd 3rd and 4th images. The table which stores multi-images needs an adid.

So how can we add all 4 images before making payment and before having an adid?
Can you give us some guidance or point us to some documentation?

Hi Neil, we see that you managed it to work it out, so this reply is for the public:

If you want to charge each ad separately, just set the \'pay in advance\' setting of the ad plan to \'NO\'. In this case, users will be allowed to place the ad first and at the very end they are given a payment form where the ad basic price and the options (if set to \'charge options\') are charged.

Please note that the ad is published under reserve if the user selects bank remittance payment. In this case the admin must confirm the payment - otherwise the ad will be unpublished after three days.

Hi,

We worked out how to do this.

But it would be very handy to have some sample code and documentation.

Where would I find documentation for KISS advertiser?

Thanks, Neil

Hi,

We have the commercial version of KISS advertiser and we are setting up some classified ads in a Joomla Website. We want to allow the user to enter all their ad information before asking them for their paypal information. It appears that they need to first purchase ads in order to buy a category before they are allowed to enter information. We want to allow the user to select a category first and enter all the ad information and only make the paypal payment at the very end when they are about to post the ad. Can you send us some sample code which will allow us to do this.

Thank you

Neil Kenealy
